Produced by Kayaba Kogyo for the Japanese Navy up to 1945. Finished in black overall, with red and white filler for the safety markings and serial number and 2 inch color coding stripes (red, white and green) near the muzzle of each barrel. A thumb safety is installed on the left side of the grip, with the barrel selector and cocking knob on the rear of the frame. Checkered grips, with a lanyard ring on the butt. With a brown pigskin belt holster.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus of the black enamel finish, showing wear along the high edges, brown patina on the exposed metal, and scattered handling marks. The color stripes show mild wear and loss. The grips are fine, with a few dings. Holster is good, with some stitching absent from the lid and the shoulder strap removed. Mechanically very good.
