Produced by Kayaba Kogyo for the Japanese Navy. The blue finished barrel assembly is fitted with a combination release lever and extractor mechanism with proofmarks on top and maker's marks on the top and left side. The frame is finished in a black enamel with a cocking lever and combination safety and selector switch on the rear, a thumb safety on the left side, checkered grips and a lanyard ring. With an unmarked black leather belt holster.

Very fine. The barrels show 80% of the blue finish with areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered handling mark. Some small parts are numbered "127". 90% of the enamel is present on the frame with areas of loss on the high points and grip straps. Grips are also very fine with some tool marks on the screws and mild pressure dents. The holster is about good with an incomplete shoulder strap, lost stitching on the flap, and mild scuffing. Mechanically fine.
