Only 735 of these rare pistols were manufactured between 1901-1909. This example has the correct mortised Lyman front and notch rear sights, "P S" and the two line patent information on the left side of the frame, the one line address on the barrel, caliber markings and the serial number on the bottom of the barrel, and a checkered walnut forearm and grip. The left side of the grip straps are numbered "3241" and "3088". The interior of the grip is also number "3008".

Very good as modified (barrel relined). The pistol retains 20% of the original blue finish and faded case colors with some minor oxidation, scattered marks, and some brighter edge wear. The wood is fair with moderately worn checkering, several small dings, and a few light scrapes. Mechanically excellent with legible markings.
