Description:

The 3 1/4 inch blade is etched with "Self/Protector" and some light designs, and the 2 inch blade is marked "S. BRIGHT & CO." on the ricasso. The German silver barrel has a small post front sight and two British proofs. It is fitted with a set of horn grip scales and a folding trigger. The rear of the pistol has a small compartment containing several small balls with a small bullet mold on the left side (absent) and a pair of tweezers on the right. (included)

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel and rear section remain mostly bright with some aging and a few slight scratches and nicks. The hammer has traces of the original case colors with a brown patina, and the brass trigger housing has an aged patina. The remaining metal surfaces have some light spotting/pitting. The fine blades remain sharp and the etching is very fine on the spear point blade. The grip scales have some "insect" affected areas present on the left but are otherwise smooth with attractive grain and varied tones. The action remains excellent.
