Description:

This pistol has floral scroll engraving, Damascus barrel, fixed sights, German silver furniture, a checkered walnut stock, and a hickory ramrod. The underside of the barrel has "2959" and several English proof marks.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel retains 40% of the original brown striping finish with attractive Damascus striping patterns showing through. The action and breech have primarily a brown patina. The German silver components are mostly bright with some minor aging. There are a few scratches and marks overall. The stock has several dings and scrapes throughout, crisp checkering, a faint hairline crack on the right side of the forend, and a few minor chips. The action is fine and the engraving and markings are clear.
