Manufactured between 1863 and 1888, this Elliot pepperbox features: bead front and groove rear sights, the two-line Remington & Sons address and Elliot's Patents markings on the barrel group, fine floral scroll decoration on over 80% of the metal surfaces including etching on the barrel group, and fitted with a pair of smooth grips.

Very fine. The pistol retains 70% of the silver plating which displays an aged patina. The balance has a gray or brown patina. There is some light spotting. The grips are fine and have attractive creamy tones with visible grain. The action is fine, and the markings and patterns are mostly crisp.
