Description:

This unusual pistol is in essence a set of brass knuckles with a simple single shot percussion pistol at the top, an iron ramrod threaded in through the bottom, and a pivoting dagger/bayonet on the back. The top of the barrel is marked "-LE APACHE-". It comes in a case disguised as the book CONFERENCES ECCLESIASTIQUES DU DIOCESE DANGERS. The book and barrel marking suggest French manufacture. France was also home to the more well known "Les Apaches" knuckle duster revolver which has a similar, but more complex, design and purpose.

Rating Definition:

Good. The brass displays an attractive aged patina with some light scratches and marks overall. The iron components are pitted and display a gray patina. The action needs some work.
