Description:

Combining a dagger, revolver and a set of brass knuckles in a compact unit that can easily fit in a pocket, the Dolne Revolver became the signature weapon of the Apaches (Les Apaches), one of the most notorious gangs of pre-World War I Paris. Constructed from silver-finished brass overall, the frame of the revolver and the folding pistol grip/knuckle guard are well engraved with a mix of scroll and floral patterns, with the former marked "L.DOLNE INVur" on the front right side. The cylinder, blade and working parts are blued steel with Liege proofs and floral engravings on the cylinder and the blade being 2 3/4 inches with a wavy double edge.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished with half of the dark blue and 20% of the silver. Some dents are visible on the frame and cylinder with mild spotting beneath the surface. Engraving is crudely recut. Most of the silver is concentrated in the loops of the brass knuckles and in the protected area with the remainder showing a well aged patina. Mechanically needs adjustment.
