These inventive little pistols were produced by Remington from 1867 to 1888 with a production total of approximately 10,000. The trigger mechanism consists of only a spur trigger, main spring, and combination hammer and breechblock. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address and patent information, and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel and front of the frame (partial). It has a post front sight and ebony colored hardwood grips.

Fine. The pistol displays a gray patina on the barrel and retains 90% plus of the silver plating on the frame with some patches of light pitting. The grips are good with a hairline crack in the left panel and some overall minor pressure marks and small scratches. The action is fine, and the markings are clear.
