These Third Model Derringers were manufactured between 1875 and 1912. The top of the barrel is marked "-COLT-" in large italicized letters and "41 CAL" is marked on the left side of the frame. This example also has a small "C" and Rampant Colt marking at the breech on the left and British proofs on the bottom of the barrel indicating that it was sold by Colt's London Agency. Gun B has other London Agency markings on the opposite side. It is equipped with a round blade front sight and pair of varnished walnut grips. The pair comes in a hardwood case with fitted interior, "W. Watson & Sons" marked lid lining, key, oiler, and bore rod.

Excellent. The pistol retains 90% of the original finish with some light scratches and some fading. The grips are also very fine with some slight marks in the glossy varnish. The markings are mostly crisp, and the action is excellent. The case and accessories are fine with some cracks in the case lid.

This Colt Third Model Derringer has the standard Colt barrel marking along with two British proofs on the bottom, "41 CAL" on the left side of the frame, and the Rampant Colt followed by "14. PALL MALL" on the right side of the action. It has a round blade front sight and varnished walnut grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% plus of the original finishes with some light scratches and marks. The grips are also excellent with some mild nicks and scrapes. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp aside from the head of the Rampant Colt emblem.
