It is equipped with double set triggers. J. Keller appears in the records as a gunmaker in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in the 1820s to 1840s.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel has a mixture of faded brown finish and brown patina with edge wear and spotting, and pitting at the breech. The lock has a dark brown patina, and the brass components have a nicely aged patina. The stock is good with attractive patterns, a few cracks at the toe, and some minor marks throughout. The action needs some attention. The markings are mostly clear with partially obscured "R"s.
