The coin finish action and side locks are lightly floral scroll and rose bouquet engraved as is the trigger guard, break lever and tangs. Marked "FABRICA DE ARRIETA Y CIA ELGOIBAR" on the bottom of the action. This shotgun is marked with a gold inlaid "1" on the barrels at the breech, break lever and forearm hardware. The trigger guard has a gold inlaid "A/fleur-de-lis/C" in a gold circle. Tang safety marked in Spanish "SEGURO". Mounted on a checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, an inscription oval marked "MSD" and a skip line checkered bare butt. Very good. The barrels retain 98% of the original blue finish with a few minor scratches on the left barrel a third of the length from the breech. The action retains 99% of the coin finish with some minor brown speckling on the lower tang. The wood is excellent. The checkering is crisp. Only the right side fires.
