With a single steel bead sight, choked cylinder/improved cylinder and 3 inch chambers with ejectors. The jeweled barrel flats have an Eibar proof house mark, a provisional double barrel proof and an optional smokeless powder proof. The barrels under the forearm are marked with a faint "15.8". The lightly casehardened receiver features extensive scrolling floral and vine engraving with tight whirls and wonderfully detailed rosettes. Engraving is continued onto the fences, breech lever, upper tang, safety switch, trigger guard and lower tang. The engraver's signature "P. AZPIAZU" is on the right side, just forward of the trigger guard. The lower tang is engraved "216 RL". Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut splinter forearm with engraved hardware and a straight grip stock with silver initial oval and diamond pattern checkered naked butt. Length of pull is 14 7/8 inches. Includes a leather bound takedown case, with oiler bottle, and two piece hardwood cleaning rod.

Excellent overall, with only minimal light handling marks and 99% original blue/casehardened finishes. The wood is excellent, with sharp well defined checkering, and attractive grain. Displaying some light handling marks primarily on the forearm and underside of the buttstock. Case is excellent, though it is for another shotgun. Mechanically excellent.
