Description:

This is an another example of some of these very rare experimental pistols that we have to offer for sale this auction. This model as noted, is an experimental pistol that is similar to the various Spanish Ruby pistol design (only better made) that was made at the Zbrojovka factory in Plzen Czechoslovakia. The left side of the slide reads in tow lines: "Akciova Spolecnost Drive Skodovy Zavody/Zbrojovka-Plzen. It is serial number "3" which is stamped on the exposed chamber area of the barrel with no other serial numbers of proof marks. It is currently in the white and is fitted with lightly checkered walnut grips. A similar pistol to this one is shown as pistol number 2755 in the Mathews pistol book. The consignor indicated that this is one of only 3 or 4 pistol actually ever produced by that company.

Rating Definition:

Good condition overall. The pistol may have been originally blued overall, but now has the finish carefully cleaned off the metal surface showing a bright metal finish overall. The grips are in very good condition with visible checkering and minor handling marks.
