Measuring about 15 inches overall, this trap gun is of brass construction overall with a spring-loaded striker fired by a pull-rod that has been drilled for a trip line, mounted to a brass base with spirit level, elevation adjustment arm and two detachable ground spikes. Two barrels are included; one is steel, configured to fire a 22 rimfire cartridge and the other brass to fire a small brass harpoon (included) with a 38 caliber blank. A housing to hold the wire for the harpoon is integral to the frame. With a canvas covered hardwood case. Information on this arm has proved scarce and we have not been able to identify time or quantity of production.

Very good. The brass components show a well aged patina with signs of filing/polishing in the firing pin channel, a few darker spots and mild handling marks. The steel barrel shows a mixed brown patina with bright edges. Case is fine with wear at the hinges and some light stains. Spirit level and action are both excellent.
