Built around the same basic mechanism as the Fur Getter, the Taylor Sure Shot is beefed up to handle wolves and similar mid-sized pests. The cast brass frame is marked "PAT. JUNE 2.14/MFD. FOR F.C. TAYLOR CO/ST. LOUIS" in raised letters on top with a stamped serial number, smoothbore barrel, adjustable bait hook, and swiveling steel ground spike. Listed in section III of the ATF's "weapons removed from the NFA as collector's items and classified as Curios & Relics under the GCA"

Good with a mixed aged patina on the brass, brown spotting on the bright steel and scattered handling marks overall. Mechanically in good order.
