Manufactured from 1899 to 1910. Blade front sight and raised "V" notch rear sights with integral cocking indicator. Belgian proofs and matching numbers are present on the rear sight, slide and frame. The one-line Herstal address on the left side of the slide, FN logo and no Browning patent markings are on the frame. It has an unmarked 2-position safety and checkered hard rubber "FN" grips.

Fine overall, with 30% original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear, brown patina, light scratching and some minor pitting. Grips are very good with clear markings, a dark chocolate color and well defined checkering. Mechanically fine.
