Description:

Manufactured by the Moore's Patent Firearms Company circa 1864 to 1870, this front loading revolver features the standard floral scroll engraving on the frame and light geometric designs on the barrel which is marked with the one line Moore's address. The cylinder is marked with "D. WILLIAMSON'S PATENT JANUARY 5, 1864". "AT63" is marked on the frame under the grip and underside of the grip panels. "4463" is marked on the underside of the barrel. The revolver is equipped with a the small hinged swivel gate on the right side of the barrel lug, blade front and hammer notch rear sights, and varnished walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The revolver retains 80% plus of the original blue finish with patches of brown patina on the barrel and cylinder and 97% plus of the silver plating on the frame with some faint scratches and light patina forming. The grips are excellent and only have some slight handling marks. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
