Description:

Manufactured by Charles Clement of Liege, the Fulgor was developed in 1912. A deviation from Clement's other designs the Fulgor drew a great deal of inspiration from Browning's Model 1908 Vest Pocket Pistol, deleting the grip safety, light alterations to the manual safety, and adding a quick-takedown feature to the barrel, which can be popped out for cleaning and maintenance with a single button press. The outbreak of World War I and the German invasion of Belgium terminated production of the Fulgor, which did not resume after the end of hostilities. An unknown quantity were produced, and few examples survive to this day. In another deviation from the Browning 1908, a set of channels have been milled into the sides of the frame above the trigger guard, either intended to lighten the pistol or provide a comfortable resting position outside the guard for the trigger finger. Traces of a two-line marking are present on the left side of the slide, similar in location to markings found on other Fulgor examples. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide and barrel, with "FEU" and "SUR" marked safety positions and smooth grips.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished, with most of the period refurbished blue remaining, showing pitting beneath the bluing, traces of storage grease, and some light handling marks overall, along with a strong and bright niter blue color on the extractor and sear bar. The grips are good, with some mild dents. Mechanically very good.
