Heavily based on the FN Browning Model 1900, with the recoil spring housing over the barrel, blade front and notch rear sights. The left sides of the frame and barrel have standard Belgian proof marks. Standard "Jieffeco" slide legend is missing, with the cocking piece marked "MELIOR", perhaps representing a transition from the earlier Melior model 1907 to the Model 1909-1910. The right side of the pistol is marked with stacked matching serial numbers.

Very fine, with 70% plus original blue finish remaining. Displaying areas of light edge wear, minor scattered dings, areas of thinning finish and minimal spotting. The grips are very good, the left panel has been repaired. Mechanically excellent.
