Description:

The first semi-automatic pistol brought to market by Webley, the design of the Model 1905 would serve as the baseline for a long-produced line of pocket sized auto pistols. A number of features were present on the early 1905s that were eliminated during the production run, including a diagonal machined flat on the right side of the slide where the extractor is mounted and a hammer mounted safety. Fixed blade and notch sights with an engraved Webley "winged bullet" and three-line address and caliber markings on the left side of the slide, Birmingham proofmarks, "1520" on the frame, a knurled hammer and safety lever and checkered plastic grips.

Rating Definition:

Very good as period refurbished with 70% original blue finish displaying areas of edge wear, small surface scratches and minor spotting. Grips are good with chips missing on both panels near the back strap and assorted smaller chips. Mechanically very good.
