The grenade proof is repeated by the magazine catch with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the left side of the dust cover. It is fitted with a long smooth trigger, checkered wide hammer, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, short grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple, a pair of checkered grips, a correct Springfield folded base magazine and an "S" marked barrel lug. With a brown cardboard collector's box.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally refinished showing 95% of the high polish blue with some bright high edge wear and scattered handling marks. The lanyard staple is slightly bent, and a few shallow dents are present on the grips. Mechanically excellent.
