Manufactured in 1942. Rampant Colt flanked by the two-line patent dates and address on left side of slide and U.S. property and model marking with serial number and ordnance cartouche on right side of frame. Left side of frame marked with "W.B." inspector initials and letter "P", and triangle proof on trigger guard. The slide is marked with a single "P" inspection mark on the top between the rear sight and the ejection port. Fitted with checkered brown plastic grips, arched checkered mainspring housing with lanyard staple and an unmarked solid blue magazine. Includes two extra blued magazines.

Excellent overall with 90% plus original gray parkerized finish. Displays some areas of edge wear, as well as scattered small scratches. Grips are excellent with crisp checkering and slight handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
