Manufactured in 1968, this revolver has the standard markings and features including matching serial and assembly numbers and is fitted with checkered Rampant Colt grips numbered to another gun. Only 4,244 Second Generation revolvers were produced in this configuration compared to nearly double the amount in the same finish and caliber but a shorter 5 1/2 inch barrels and over 16,000 in .45 Colt with blue and casehardened finish and 5 1/2 inch barrels.

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% plus of the original finishes with some drag lines and marks on the cylinder, minor edge and high spot wear, and light firing marks. The grips are fine with a chip absent on the bottom of the right panel. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
