This revolver is one of 10,030 Second Generation Single Action Army revolvers manufactured in this configuration, was produced in 1957, and has a fixed blade front sight, the one-line address, and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the barrel. The frame has the two-line, three-date patent information on the left side followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and left side of the grip straps, and the matching assembly number is marked on the right side rear of the frame and on the loading gate. The front of the cylinder is marked "218". The left side of the trigger guard has the triangular "VP" proof and "J". It is fitted with a two-piece set of oversized, replacement walnut grips.

Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish with fading on the back strap mixed with some minor scratches, light edge wear, and cylinder rotation marks. The frame retains 98% plus of the fiery case colors with some very faint spotting. The grips are very good with some light scrapes and pressure marks. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
