Manufactured from 1931 to 1941. The revolver features a pinned barrel has the standard two line address/patent marking on the top, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side, and the caliber designation on the right side. Pinned blade front and adjustable rear notch sights, with standard frame markings, casehardened hammer and trigger (both marked "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF."), serrated grip straps and fitted with checkered walnut grips featuring silver S&W medallions. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun.

Excellent with 97% of the original blue finish with scattered scratches and dings and some minor finish loss on the left side of the frame near the breech. The grips are very fine with some scattered scratches and dings. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1957. Standard barrel and frame markings with 4 screw side plate, Patridge front and adjustable rear notch target sights, spur checkered hammer, serrated trigger, all blue finish with casehardened hammer, trigger, and fitted with a pair of checkered walnut grips featuring silver Smith & Wesson medallions. The factory letter confirms the revolvers configuration and that it was shipped on June 14, 1957 and delivered to the Shapliegh Hardware Company in St. Louis, MO. Complete with a two-piece factory blue box, cleaning tools and papers.

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish with only slight handling marks and a cylinder drag line. The grips are very good with a few minor dings. The checkering is crisp. The box is fair with corner and edge wear and with all four corners of the lid taped. Mechanically excellent.
