Description:

The main body of the helmet is one-piece steel construction, with the front seam obscured by a series of fluted panels and a plug in the top concealed by a floral shaped plume holder. Each panel shows a silver koftgari vine pattern and a set of 3 golden cross patonce patterns. Two plume holders are mounted on the front, flanking a sliding nose guard, which are decorated to match the top plume holder and the side panels, respectively. Chain protectors for the ears and the back of the neck hang from the underside, along with a short chain skirt for the forehead. With a black velvet covered display stand.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The steel shows a dark, antique brown and gray color overall, with over 80% of the original koftgari and a few splits and separations in the chain links.
