These Pre-Model 10 shotguns were manufactured circa 1905-1908. This shotgun features a factory scroll engraving on the receiver and trigger guard, and the serial number engraved on the underside of the frame. Full choke, 14 1/4 inch length of pull and a solid matte rib with a single bead sight. The left side of the barrel has the three line address/patent dates marking above an engraved "FULL". There is a 2 inch wedge of scroll engraving on each side of the breech end of the barrel. The action bar is marked "TRADE Remington MARK" surrounded by simple line engraving. The lower tang is marked "REMINGTON/UMC". Mounted with a multipoint checkered walnut forearm and replacement pistol grip stock with a raised comb and vented Ray's Sport Shop recoil pad.

Very fine. The shotgun retains 60% original blue finish with a smooth gray and silver gray patina on the magazine tube and some thinning and edge wear on the receiver. The trigger guard and slide bar have a smooth gray patina. The wood is also very fine overall with an old chip on the upper left rear of the forearm, a couple hairline age cracks and a few minor handling marks. The stock is good with a few minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically fine.
