Description:

Manufactured between 1920 and 1926. With a dovetailed pinch blade front and elevation adjustable rear sporting sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with a steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% of the original blue finish. The barrel and receiver show scattered areas of edge wear and light spotting throughout, as well as scattered light pitting. The wood is good, with some small chips, pressure indentations, light scratches, and a few hairline cracks at the upper tang. Mechanically very good.

Description:

Manufactured from 1893 to 1939. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line J. Stevens address followed by "25 STEVENS" ahead of the rear sight and the serial number is marked on the lower tang. Flip up globe front and flip up express rear sights, casehardened receiver and lever, with blue remaining parts, mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber "STEVENS/FAVORITE" buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good with 40% of the blue and 25% casehardened finishes overall displaying areas of light spotting and minor pitting on the barrel, as well as areas of minor edge wear and thinning finish. The receiver has muted case colors with some edge wear, light silvering, scattered spotting and some minor pits. The wood is fine, with scattered small scratches, and moderate pressure indentations.
