Manufactured between 1938 and 1945. Single steel bead sight on a concave solid matte rib barrel marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN.CT.U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL". 2 5/8 inch chambers, choked modified/full, and an auto ejector. The barrel, water table and lower tang have matching serial numbers. The water table has the 1910 patent date with "DH" over the serial number over "3". The casehardened action features a scroll engraving with a dog and "PARKER BROS" in a banner on each side and four game birds on the underside. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The forearm is numbered to the barrels and has the 1901 patent date on the engraved hardware. Multi-point checkered splinter forearm and checkered straight grip stock with blank initial oval, and skeleton steel buttplate with a checkered naked butt. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrels have 50% of the current blue finish, with areas of spotting and pitting, as well as light to moderate handling marks and scattered light spotting. The receiver has aged to a mostly silver tone, with muted case colors only visible on the water table. All engravings and markings are strong. The wood is fair, with pressure indentations, abrasions, small chips and scratches throughout. Mechanically very good.
