Manufactured circa 1894, with dual bead sights on a concave matte rib, marked "PARKER BROS MAKERs. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST". With 2 3/4 inch chambers and extractors, choked improved modified/full. The receiver and forearm hardware have been lightly engraved with tight scroll work and a simple border.. Mounted on a multipoint checkered pistol grip stock and checkered splinter forearm, with a hard rubber Parker Brothers grip cap and hard rubber dog logo Parker Brothers checkered buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8" .

Very good as partially refinished. The barrels have 85% of the current brown finish, with areas of light surface scratches, edge wear, small dings and areas of spotting and light pitting that have been cleaned and browned over. The receiver shows some light surface scratches, minor spotting, and some visible case colors in the more protected areas. The wood is very good, with some small indentations, light abrasions and well defined checkering. Mechanically very good.
