Manufactured in 1962. This shotgun features a red bead front and steel mid bead sights on the 3 pin duck bill vent rib barrel, the choke marking is "WS-1" with a 2 3/4 inch chamber. The proofmarks are stamped to the left of the rib on the barrel and receiver. There is a pigeon engraved on the takedown collar and the breechblock and shell lifter are jeweled. The barrel and takedown collar have a floral scroll engraving at the breech. Both sides of the receiver have floral scroll engraving with woodland scenes and a punch dot background. The left side has two gold inlaid hunting dogs pointing at a gold inlaid grouse in flight. The right side has four gold inlaid mallard ducks in flight. Mounted on a nicely figured, diamond pattern checkered extended walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a steel grip cap and a checkered hard plastic Winchester buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Very good. The shotgun retains 98% of the original blue finish with only slight handling marks. The engravings and gold inlays are sharp. The wood is very good scattered scratches and dings and finish residue on the stock. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
