Description:

Only approximately 5,700 of these rifles were manufactured between 1933 and 1947. This example was produced in 1941 and features a half magazine, ramp front sight with hood, and an adjustable rear open sporting sight,. The upper tang has the standard markings. It is mounted on a smooth pistol grip stock with checkered shotgun buttplate and a semi-beavertail forearm with a blued cap.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% plus of the original blue finish. The barrel displays only minor light handling marks. The receiver shows an area on the bottom that has been rubbed and subsequently aged to a mottled gray/brown patina, consistent with regular handling. The wood is very good, with scattered small scratches, and pressure indentations. Mechanically excellent.
