Manufactured in 1940. Has a brass beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The "W/P" in an oval proofmark is stamped on the top rear of the barrel and on the top front of the receiver. Mounted on a smooth walnut beavertail forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with serrated steel shotgun buttplate. Equipped with an extended magazine and sling swivels.

Very good overall, with 80% original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear, surface scratches and some light dings. The barrel has taken on a light brown patina, with scattered light spotting. The wood is very good, with attractive grain, and some scattered deeper indentations and chips. Mechanically excellent.
