Manufactured from 1959 to 1979 in Belgium and built on the more desirable FN long Mauser action making this a rare caliber and action combination. This rifle features a tapered lightweight barrel, with standard marking, with the left side of the barrel and breech marked with Belgian proofs. The top of the receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Blue finish with a polished bolt and gold filled light engraving on the trigger guard and floor plate. One piece checkered pistol grip stock with a cheek piece, black plastic Browning buttplate and sling swivel studs.

Very good as partially refinished. The barrel and receiver have 99% blue finish with only minimal handling marks. The trigger guard and the forward tang on the lower receiver show evidence of cold bluing and discoloration. The wood is excellent with a satin finish, sharp checkering and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
