Description:

This composite carbine has a pinned blade front sight, folding ladder/notch rear sight, saddle ring and bar on the left, Model 1884 breechblock, serial number in the Model 1879 range with a star at the end signifying arsenal modification/re-work.

Rating Definition:

Good as assembled. The carbine has traces of the faded original finishes mixed with brown patina. The trigger guard retains 80% plus of the blue finish. There are patches of oxidation most notably on the buttplate. The stock is fine as sanded and refinished with some light scrapes and minor dings. The primary markings are legible, and the action is excellent.
