Manufactured 1875-1912. Large italic "-COLT-" on top of the barrel and "crown/V" and "crown/GP" on the underside. The left side of the frame is marked "41 CAL" and followed by the London Agency marking of a "C" followed by the Rampant Colt. Blade front sight, blue barrel, silver plated brass frame, casehardened hammer and niter blue trigger. Fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Very fine. The barrel retains 70% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The frame retains 80% original silver plating with an aged patina on the exposed brass. The hammer retains 90% of the original case colors. The grips are excellent with almost all of the original varnish remaining and some minor dings and dents. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
