This is a very fine example of a late production Colt Model 1877 "ejectorless" Sheriff's model DA revolver manufactured in 1892. It has the all blue metal finish with a color casehardened frame. The barrel is marked on top with the two line Hartford barrel address and roll marked: "COLT. D.A. 38" on the left side. The frame has the standard three-line/three-patent dates on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap with "854" on the rear of the cylinder. The loading gate is stamped with assembly number "388". It has checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Fine with 50% of the blue finish remaining overall with wear on the grip straps and sides of the barrel. The frame shows 10% of its case colors mostly in the protected areas. The grips are in very good condition with visible checkering overall and wear from use and handling.
