This unique sterling silver clad holster rig features and double buckle design with a large tooled silver plaque attached with six domed studs. The plaque depicts a Mexican style cathedral with a fish scale background and is flanked by silver horses shoe with the initials "AOM" in the center, (the M is absent from the one on the right side). Each tip of the center piece is adorned with a sterling silver cover with a tooled floral design. The piece is also decorated with 36 sterling silver studs. The belt has two buckles each marked "STERLING/MEXICO" and are decorated with a floral vine design with a geometric background. The belt has silver studs lining the bottom and has 50 sterling silver cartridge holders along the top. The holster is overlaid with sterling sliver tooled with a floral vine design with a nine stud border. The strap is partially covered in silver with a light tooled border. The skirt is decorated with 45 silver studs on the outer edge.

Very fine overall. The sterling silver has an attractive aged patina. The leather is also very fine with some minor flex cracking and some wear above the cartridge loops from putting in and removing cartridges. As noted above, a letter is absent from one of the horse shoes. This is a very unique and ornate sterling silver holster rig.
