Manufactured by the Hunter Arms Company in Fulton N.Y. Single nickel bead sight on solid ribbed barrel marked "L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE" on the right and "HUNTER ARMS CO. INC M'F'R'S' FULTON, N Y ". Choked full/full and 3 inch chambers with ejectors. The receiver and side plates are casehardened and both side plates are marked " L.C. SMITH" and the underside is marked "LONG RANGE". Also features a tang safety and double triggers. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with black plastic grip cap and plastic serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Fine. The barrels retain 50% of the original blue finish with minor to moderate scratches and dings along the barrels and with moderate muzzle and breech wear. The receiver retains 60% of the original colors with the balance having silvered, with some scattered brown spotting. The replacement stock is very good with crisp checkering and the original forearm is fair with scattered scratches and dings with worn checkering. Mechanically excellent.
