This shotgun features dual white front and mid bead sights on solid rib marked "HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON, N.Y." with 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors and choked full/full. "2E" marked on the left barrel flat. Casehardened scroll engraved action with "L.C. SMITH" and game bird scenes on each lock plate. Single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety. "HUNTER ONE TRIGGER" marked near trigger. The forearm has multi-point checkering with ebony tip insert. It has walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber cap and thin black solid recoil pad.

Very good. The barrels and trigger guard retain 70% of the original blue finish with some scattered scratches and dings and mild pitting along the barrels. The front bead sight is absent. The action retains 20% of the original casehardened finish faded to a smooth grey patina with traces of strong cases colors in the protected areas. The wood is good with scattered scratches and dings and a hairline crack behind each lock. The checkering has moderate wear. The recoil pad is worn and loose with the top section torn. Mechanically excellent.
