The Model 1894 was manufactured between 1894 and 1910. This example has a single steel bead sight on a textured solid rib marked with the one-line address. Each barrel is marked "REMINGTON" on top and it has matching serial numbers. The watertable is marked with an "A" over the patent dates. The sides of the receiver are marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO." It is mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and nicely figured walnut pistol grip stock with a Remington monogram hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. The barrels are choked improved modified and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with an extractor.

Fine. The barrels retain nearly 25% of the original faded blue finish and the action retains more than half of the fading original case colors. The wood is very good with crisp checkering slight scrapes and pressure marks and a few slight chips. Mechanically excellent with clear markings.
