Standard "L.C. SMITH Field GRADE" and Hunter arms address on the top of the barrels, "L.C. Smith " marked on each side lock, water table and barrel flat are marked "FIELD" and matching serial number on the water table, barrel flat and forearm hardware. Single bead sight on a matte concave solid rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, choked improved modified/full. Double triggers, automatic tang mounted safety and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Very good overall with 90% original blue finish on the barrels displaying minor small scratches and slight edge wear near the muzzle and chambers. The receiver has 35% of the original case colors with the balance having silvered and some scattered spotting. The wood is very good with attractive grain and crisp checkering. Some loss of varnish is present at the wrist and the comb. Mechanically excellent.
