Single bead front sight on solid rib marked "HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON, N.Y." with 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors and choked full/improved. "2E" marked on barrel flat. Casehardened scroll engraved action with "L.C. SMITH" and game bird scenes on each lock plate. Single trigger and tang mounted manual safety. "HUNTER ONE TRIGGER" marked near trigger. The forearm has multi-point checkering with ebony tip insert. It has a walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber cap and thick hard rubber buttplate.

Fine with the refinished barrels retaining 90% thinning blue with wear at muzzle and some fine scratches. The action retains 60% of the casehardened finish with several areas of good color showing in protected areas but slivering out overall. The shortened stock is good and has been lightly sanded and revarnished. The checkering is sharp. The buttplate checkering has dulled and it is held on with round head screw. Mechanically excellent.
