Manufactured in 1938 in Belgium. Has a single steel bead sight, on a stepped solid matte rib. Choked modified and has a 2 3/4 inch chamber. Top of receiver is engraved in a light scrolling floral motif, in 4 separate wedges measuring 1 1/2 inches long. Left face is engraved with the Browning name and a small portrait of John Browning. Receiver as a whole has a zig-zag border at the edges on all faces. Forward motion type safety located in front of trigger guard. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with finger grooves and a round knob pistol grip stock with a horn FN/Browning buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. Includes an extra 28 inch 12 gauge barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, also choked modified.

Very good with 85% original deep blue finish displaying areas of some edge wear, mild handling marks and light freckling. The wood is very good with well defined checkering, attractive grain and a warm oil finish displaying scratches and pressure indentations scattered throughout. Extra barrel is excellent with some light handling marks and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.
