This example was manufactured in 1998 and has flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the front and back of the side plates, the receiver, break lever, trigger plate, trigger guard and forearm hardware. There are game scenes on both side plates and on the bottom of the receiver. The left side plate shows two ducks taking flight from a marshy area with cattails in the foreground. The right side plate shows three snipe descending to landing in a marshy area. The bottom of the receiver shows a woodcock in flight with a scraggly tree in the background over the markings "P. Beretta/S687 EELL/Diamond Pigeon". The gold plated trigger is adjustable for length of pull and there is a tang mounted safety/selector switch. The barrels are numbered to the gun and have a single white bead sight and are factory threaded for a choke tube system, 2 3/4 and 3 inch chambers with ejectors. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut schnabel forearm and pistol grip stock with blank initial oval and solid factory recoil pad. Length of pull is currently 14 7/8 inches. With Beretta factory box numbered to the gun, five extra choke tubes and choke tool.

Near new with only slight handling marks. The box is good with some edge and corner wear and some end label separation. Mechanically excellent.
