Operating on a simple blowback design with a takedown lever on the left side of the frame securing the barrel and slide via a combination of crossbolt and hinge. As with previous Pieper models, the recoil spring is located above the barrel. With standard Belgian proofs and "N. PIEPER-PATENT" marked on the right side of the slide. All numbers are matching. Fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Very good with 60% faded original blue finish having mostly aged to a uniform brown tone and displaying areas of edge wear, moderate handling marks and some isolated light spotting. Grips are also very good with some small indentations and slightly smoothed checkering. Mechanically fine.
