Description:

Produced in the early 1930s, the frame of this pistol is constructed from aluminum alloy and the remaining components, including the barrel and slide, manufactured from steel. Fixed sights, the standard commercial markings on the left side of the slide, "crown/N" proof stamps on the slide, chamber and muzzle and the matching hand-scribed partial number on the inside of the slide and matching exterior numbers on the slide and frame. Fitted with a ring hammer, 90 degree safety, and checkered wraparound brown plastic Walther grips. With a brown leather Albrecht Kind flap holster and an extra magazine. An assortment of names are scratched on the back of the holster; one is an uncommon surname "SAHME" on the loop, the rest are girls names. No documentation is included, but the 11 names suggest Sahme had a rather memorable time while wearing this sidearm.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The steel components show 90% of the original blue with bright wear on the leading edges and a small amount of spotting. The black anodized frame has mostly taken on a mixed brown/gray color with the front strap especially bright and a more mellow amber tone around the slide. The warped grip is good having shrunk. Holster is good, with some cracking at the folds and mild scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
