Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing bright wear along the high edges, some light handling marks and a small amount of spotting. The repainted bayonet lug/heat shield assembly shows most of a black enamel finish, with similar edge wear. The stock is fine, with some light cracks at the wrist, chips around the butt and a replacement buttplate. Mild wear and spotting are visible on the bayonet and sheath. Mechanically excellent.
