Manufactured in 1925. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line Hartford address/1884, 1900 and 1905 patent dates. The left side of the barrel is marked "NEW SERVICE 38 W.C.F." The Rampant Colt is marked on the left rear of the frame behind the cylinder latch. The matching serial number is stamped on the inside of the frame and crane. The revolver has the standard clipped blade front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blue finish, polished hammer sides and fitted with smooth walnut grips and a lanyard loop on the butt.

Excellent overall, with 97% plus original factory blue finish. Displaying some scattered scratches and dings, as well as small areas of edge wear. Grips are very fine replacements, with attractive grain, and a small crack in the left panel near the heel. Mechanically excellent.
